WHY I LOVE SHIRTS

My shirt obsession came about serendipitously when in the early 2000’s I hunted for vintage in London and fell upon bespoke designs from the 60’s and 70´s, mostly made in Jermyn Street, and cut from cotton poplin.

I was drawn to the easy, effortless chic that the patina of time gave these clothes. The attention to detail and cut felt timeless – elements that would later form the blueprint for Sébline.

I love shirts and I love being a shirtmaker – designing clothing not fashion; focusing completely on a single product and making it as best I can.
